Even if your media assets and videos have distinct names, your team may want to create its own tagging system to quickly find related media and projects.

Tagging Media Assets

Tagging a media asset can be done in two ways.

When first uploading an asset, you can add a tag by clicking the 'Add tags' button at the bottom of the 'Upload to' popup and use the checkboxes to select the asset you'd like to tag.

Type in the tag(s) that you would like to add to the asset, and then click 'Apply'. Tags will also automatically apply by clicking the 'Upload' button.

Tip: you can also bulk tag if you're uploading multiple assets at once! Use the 'Select all' checkmark or click on all assets you'd like to tag while uploading.

You can also tag individual assets after they've been uploaded. To tag individual assets, click on an asset to expand its description.

Then, click the 'Add tag' button and type in your tag(s). Click 'Enter' on your keyboard to confirm a tag.

Once tagged, your assets can be easily found by typing an associated tag into the 'My Media' search bar. You can also click on an asset tag to instantly search for other assets with that tag.

Tagging Videos

Tagging drafted and produced videos on your homepage is a very similar process to adding tags to media assets.

To tag a video, click on the video thumbnail on the homepage. This will open the Video Panel on the right side of your screen.

Next, click the 'Add tag' button and type in your tag(s). Click 'Enter' on your keyboard to confirm a tag.

Once tagged, any videos with that tag will appear when using the 'My Videos' search bar. You can also click on a video tag to instantly search for other videos with that tag.

This video is now tagged with 'fruit series' and shows up in a search accordingly.

Removing a Tag

To remove an asset tag, simply click on the thumbnail of the asset to open its description. Then, hover over the tag you'd like to delete and click the 'x' on the top right of the tag.

To remove a video tag, click on the video thumbnail to open the Video Panel on the right of the homepage. Then, hover over the tag and click the 'x' on the top right of the tag.
