Adding a cover image to your video is a great way to stay organized and quickly identify videos in the 'My Videos' library.

To change a cover image, click on a video on the homepage to open the Video Panel:

Next, click on the three dots on the top right corner and select the 'Edit Cover' button below the video preview. You can select either 'Pick From Video' or 'Upload File'.

If you select 'Upload File', you will be prompted to upload a .png or .jpg file to use as your cover image. Based on your video format, we recommend uploading an asset that fits the following media dimensions:

  • Landscape: 16:9 (1980px x1080px)

  • Square: 1:1 (1080px x1080px)

  • Vertical: 9:16 (1080px x 1980px)

If you select 'Pick From Video', your video will begin to play. Once you find a frame that you would like to use as the cover image, click 'Set Cover'. This will instantly change the cover image of your video to the selected frame.

Please note that you can only use the 'Pick from Video' option once a video is produced. You can upload a cover image at any time.

Note: cover images are only viewable on the platform and will not apply to downloaded videos. Many social platforms like Facebook and YouTube will allow you to choose a thumbnail for a video directly on their website.
